Less than 24 hours to go until we get to see the latest releases from OnePlus. OnePlus usually hold several popup events around the globe to launch their new products. I attended the London event last year when the OnePlus 7 Pro was launched at John Lewis on Oxford Street and I was lucky enough to be the 10th in the queue. Along with the OnePlus 7 Pro I was given some amazing free goodies including T-Shirts, Cases, A OnePlus Backpack and the brand new Bullets 2 Wireless Headphones.
Unfortunately, the launch of the OnePlus 8 series will be different from the usual events due to the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak. OnePlus have today announced that a limited edition pop-up package will be released at 5PM tomorrow in the UK. Popular leaker Evan Blass has already confirmed what the pop-up box will include. Evan has advised that the package includes three protective covers for the device – a transparent case, a blue case, and a black protective case. The company also includes the new OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z hanging headphone in the box. The box also contains the André special edition protective shell. What is not present, however, is the 30W wireless charging pad for the OnePlus 8 Pro.
OnePlus were always known as the flagship killers. With the 8 Pro expected to be close to £1000 it now needs to be better than ever. I for one will be tuning in at 4pm tomorrow.
